Eric Hall is an Associate Professor in Mathematics whose research focuses on uncertainty quantification, stochastic and predictive modelling, and simulation of complex systems, including stochastic systems with memory and multiscale phenomena.
He develops mathematically grounded methods that integrate data with scientific and computational models, with interests in surrogate modelling, scientific machine learning, structured probabilistic methods, and information-theoretic methods.
He is particularly interested in collaborative, knowledge-exchange-led work that connects mathematical sciences with real-world challenges.
