Jenny is a researcher and maths communicator. She completed her PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Bath, specialising in PDE-constrained optimisation for radiotherapy treatment planning. Her expertise lies in numerical analysis, PDEs, finite element methods, optimal control and inverse problems.

She enjoys mathematics with impact and the diverse range of topics working with M-DICE brings. So far, she has worked on projects involving mixed-integer linear programming, machine learning, and mathematical ecology for problems in zero-emissions logistics, cancer diagnosis, and forestry rewilding.

Alongside her research, Jenny is passionate about science communication and outreach and has presented to a wide range of audiences, from primary school children all the way to members of parliament.
